Mottaz Abdulrahman Alsulaiman is a Saudi entrepreneur born in Jeddah and raised between Saudi Arabia, Washington D.C., and London. Educated at Al Anjel Private School, London Metropolitan University, and The American University of Paris, his worldview was shaped by a multicultural upbringing spanning three continents.
He founded Extreme Saudi Trade, a company specializing in real estate, wholesale distribution, and marketing, as well as the public relations firm Maz-Sul. He is known for his passion for supporting young talent and emerging entrepreneurs, providing a platform for up-and-coming designers and artists.
In 2017, he became the founding president of the Saudi Arabia Chess Federation and spearheaded the organization of the King Salman World Rapid & Blitz Chess Championships — the first world chess event hosted in the Kingdom — drawing 236 players from 70 countries with a record-setting $2 million prize fund.
